Scrapped!

Edit- I'm sure I will finish this at some point. I can't just scrap it completely. I just needed some time to cool off.

It looks like the new patch has moved the fog emitter to base game, which is good for the future but for now it's ruined the effects on all lots that had effects active. See the side bar for my full rant on this...

As for this post the casualty is the Resident Evil Mansion. I've put a ridiculous amount of time into this thing and I'm not feeling like starting over on all of the effects any time soon. With my luck they would delete the fog emitter all together after I finished. I'm sorry to those of you who were looking forward to it but I'm going to be focusing on my other lots and not using any more effects. Thanks for nothing EA.

    1. They still work Mare. It's just that they moved them to Base Game instead of Ambitions, which would be a good thing, but when they did it they somehow made it be non-functioning in the lots that already used them. For instance, any fog emitter aquariums in lots that were already uploaded will be gone. :(

  3. Oh no! There goes a ton more work down the tubes. I know a lot of Simmers who will be sad about that. :(

  4. Ahhh, I'm so bummed that you scrapped it, bc I've been really looking for a nice, big mansion lot with plenty of rooms that isn't so... over the top (i found one that was three stories and had a chapel?? no...).

Is there any way you'd be willing to take screen caps on the floor plans or release the lot as just a shell of the exterior or something? Just bc I'm not at all skilled enough to build something so big from scratch, but from what I saw, it was just about perfect for what I've been looking for.

    1. I'm still going to finish it. It might take a while though. It is going to be pretty huge though. I'm following floor plans from a specific game so there are gong to be a ton of superfluous rooms but I'm going to try to make them all useful.
